Wondering: Elephants or Motorcyles?

Techtonic.org has an interesting piece on how drastically the culture of cambodia has changed from the days of the Khmers. The post mentions an elephant gate at the Angkor Wat temple. I wonder if there are similar "camel gates" or other such architectural features in temples in other parts of the world.
